Meet your Therapist

Speech Therapist and Director

Lisette Danielle, (She/Her)
Bachelor of Speech Pathology

To me, being a Speech Therapist is about supporting people to express themselves, connect with themselves and others, and thrive in ways that are meaningful to them. I believe in meeting every client where they are, building trust, and tailoring support that genuinely makes a difference in their lives.

With 20 years of experience spanning health, education, government, and not-for-profit sectors, I’ve developed a unique mix of skills that combine clinical expertise with creativity, empathy, and a focus on collaboration. I believe in the power of working together—whether it’s with clients, families, or multidisciplinary teams. My work is grounded in client-centred, evidence-based approaches, and I’m passionate about creating inclusive, trauma-informed spaces where people feel supported and empowered.

I’m especially interested in paediatric feeding, orofacial myology, and neurodiversity-affirming practices for neurodivergent people. My approach is always driven by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to helping others reach their goals—whether it’s finding their voice, building confidence, or navigating challenges.

At the heart of everything I do is a love for people, communication, and fostering genuine connection. I am dedicated to continually growing my skills, staying curious, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I work with.

“Every interaction is a chance to affirm someone as a person first.”

Approach & Modality

I use a person-centred, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based approach in my work, which is grounded in trust, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I focus on supporting the individual needs and goals of my clients, creating a space where they feel safe to explore and embrace their full identity. This approach ensures that the person comes first—not just the diagnosis or external expectations.

My work spans across diverse settings, including community, clinical, and corporate environments, with a strong focus on improving access, equity, and inclusion for neurodivergent and disabled individuals. I primarily support clients with communication access needs, gender-affirming voice therapy, and neurodiversity-affirming autism assessments. Additionally, I provide tailored corporate training to foster meaningful behavioural change in organisations and teams.

I am deeply passionate about creating accessible and culturally sensitive spaces for all, particularly for women, neurodivergent folk, gender diverse people, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. It is a privilege to be trusted in this work, and I hold immense gratitude for the opportunity to walk alongside individuals, teams, and organisations in their journey toward meaningful change.

My primary focus areas include:

  • Gender-affirming voice therapy

  • Neurodiversity-affirming speech therapy

  • Coaching for parents and professionals to support communication access
